The Ministry of Labour, in response to a question asked by the ANC about the mode of computation of time used by employees to travel to a collection point, clarifies that:
- if the company requires employees to go to a specific collection point where, taking tools or means required to perform the work prorpio => working hours starts from the moment in which the employee logs on to the "collection point (where one can find the means corporate reach sites),
- if the company does not require employees to travel to a specific collection point but it is up to them => orarrio the work commencing from when the employee arrives at the yard.
